Terms of Service

These terms govern your Pascal’s Pager account, the hosted webhook service and the website demo.

Effective and last updated: 18 August 2026

1. About these terms

Pascal’s Pager is operated by Matthew Blake trading as designaway.

By creating an account or using the hosted service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

2. App licence

The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. These terms supplement that licence by governing your account and hosted services. They do not transfer ownership of the app or Pascal’s Pager branding to you.

3. Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and notify support@pascalspager.com promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and private Source URLs.

4. Your webhook data

You keep ownership of JSON, Source instructions and other content you submit. You grant us a limited permission to receive, store, redact, transmit, transform and display that content only as needed to provide, protect and support Pascal’s Pager.

You confirm that you have all permissions and lawful bases needed to submit the data. Do not submit credentials, unlawful content, malware, data obtained without authority, or highly regulated information for which the service is unsuitable.

5. AI-generated Alerts

Alerts are created using automated AI services. They may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect and must be checked against the underlying system before you act. Pascal’s Pager is not an emergency service and must not be used for medical, life-safety, security-critical or other uses where an incorrect or missed Alert could cause serious harm. Critical Alerts are not supported.

6. Acceptable use and allowances

You must not attempt to bypass rate limits, access another account, probe private systems, disrupt the service, automate the public demo beyond ordinary evaluation, reverse engineer protected service components, or use Pascal’s Pager unlawfully. Service and demo allowances may change to maintain reliability and control misuse.

7. Subscriptions

If a subscription is offered, its price, billing period and trial terms are shown by Apple before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings within Apple’s stated period. Apple processes payment and refund requests; see reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting your Pascal’s Pager account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Providers, network conditions, Apple notification delivery and AI availability are outside our complete control. We may update, suspend or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practicable.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful use, material breach or protection of other users. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

10. Intellectual property

Pascal’s Pager, Pascal artwork, software, website, documentation and branding belong to Matthew Blake or their respective licensors. Feedback may be used to improve the service without obligation, but you retain ownership of your original content.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, Pascal’s Pager is supplied as available and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or losses caused by reliance on an AI-generated Alert when the underlying data could reasonably have been checked.

For business users, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for Pascal’s Pager in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Consumer users retain all non-excludable statutory rights.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers may retain the right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction where mandatory law provides it.

13. Contact and changes

We may revise these terms and will identify the current version by its effective date. For questions, email support@pascalspager.com.
